- Before using your pan; remove all packaging and stickers; then wash it in warm; soapy water; rinse; and dry thoroughly.
- For stainless steel saucepans only: You can use most metal utensils; but avoid knives and whisks; as well as sharp-edged utensils; to prevent damaging the surface.
- Remove the handle during cooking and do not expose the handle to flames to prevent overheating and extend its lifetime. Use the handle only to move pots or manipulate a pan on the stove. Make sure to remove the handle and lids before placing them in the oven.
- For stainless steel saucepans only: With the exception of preheating; empty pans should not be left on a hot burner as it can cause damage. To avoid small white dots or pits from forming in your pan; bring liquids to a boil or wait until food starts to cook before adding salt.
